No. Posting a job is completely free for homeowners. We do not charge commission on the work done. You pay the trade directly for their labour and materials once the job is complete.

To protect both parties from spam and ensure safety. Phone numbers and full addresses are only shared after you explicitly click "Book this Trade" in the chat window. This prevents your data from being harvested.

Trades must upload valid Photo ID and/or Public Liability Insurance documents to receive a "Verified" badge. Our team manually reviews these documents before approving the account status.

We take reliability seriously. You can report the conversation using the "Report" flag in your inbox. We monitor attendance rates and will suspend or ban trades who repeatedly fail to attend booked jobs without valid reason.

We are currently focused on building a high density of reliable trades in specific regions. If you post a job outside our current coverage area, we will let you know instantly if there are no trades nearby.

Our main focus is speed and automation through our online job posting form. If you call our automated landline at 0113 345 6897, it will guide you to use the website. If you require direct human assistance with an account or payment issue, please email our support team at support@fixmyfault.co.uk.

To protect homeowners from unverified accounts, 30-day free trials are not activated instantly upon registration. To activate your trial, please upload your verification documents (Photo ID, Insurance, etc.) using the Verification portal. Once approved, your trial begins immediately!

Yes. We use enterprise-grade encryption and do not sell your data to third-party marketing firms. AlertVector™ only shares your details with a trade professional once you have explicitly accepted their quote and clicked "Book."

If a trade cancels, their profile is flagged for reliability monitoring. Since customers are NEVER charged for using FixMyFault™, you lose nothing. We will immediately attempt to re-broadcast your job to other local trades to get you back on track as fast as possible.

Absolutely. Our secure Messaging Hub allows you to discuss the job, share photos of the fault, and receive a quote before any contact details are exchanged or booking steps are taken.

At the end of your trial, you can choose a subscription plan that fits your business. We have options for growing sole traders and established firms. You will never be charged automatically without your explicit consent to keep the account active.

To ensure customers get help fast, leads are broadcast to several local trades. If a lead is unavailable, it means another local professional has already claimed it. Keeping your notifications on is the best way to win work!

While you can browse some public leads without a badge, 95% of customers prefer "Verified" trades. Uploading your Public Liability Insurance and ID is the fastest way to increase your booking rate and win trust.
